Furiko · Tuner & haptic metronome

Furiko Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 19, 2026

In short

Data we don't collect

Furiko is made by Nanologics. You don't need an account to use Furiko. The app has no ads, analytics, crash-reporting tools or third-party SDKs, and it doesn't track you across other apps or websites. We don't operate any server that receives user data, so we don't sell, rent or share your personal information — we never have it in the first place.

Where your data is stored

Furiko stores the presets and setlists you create (song titles, tempos, meters and notes), your practice log (date, duration and tempo; you can turn it off in Settings), and your tuner and metronome settings. This data lives only on your iPhone and Apple Watch. Furiko does not use iCloud sync and has no server of its own, so we can't see any of it. Data on your iPhone is included in your own device backups (iCloud Backup or a computer backup), which are handled by Apple.

Sharing

Your iPhone and Apple Watch exchange setlists, presets and, in follow mode, beat timing directly through Apple's WatchConnectivity, without any server in between. When you share a .furiko file, QR code, PDF stage sheet or CSV, you choose who gets it; it contains only song titles, tempos, meters and notes. Files sent to you are added only after you open them and confirm.

Permissions

Furiko only asks for access when a feature needs it. Saying no won't affect anything else, and you can change your mind any time in the iPhone Settings app.

Microphone
Used only on the tuner screen to hear your instrument. Sound is analyzed on your iPhone in real time and is never recorded, saved or uploaded. If you decline, the metronome and everything else still work.

Other details

Other permissions

Furiko does not ask for access to notifications, photos, the camera, location, contacts or health data.

Apple Watch

Watch settings such as haptic styles and timing offset are stored on the watch. While the metronome is playing, Furiko asks watchOS for extended runtime so the beat continues with your wrist down; it ends as soon as you stop. Furiko does not use workout or health data.

Widgets and Live Activity

The tempo and setlist shown in widgets, the Live Activity and Control Center come from a small snapshot the app writes to a shared App Group container on your device. It stays on that device and is never sent anywhere.

Export

In Settings → Data you can export everything (a ZIP with JSON, CSV and .furiko files) or just your practice log (CSV). Where those files go is up to you.

Purchases, Family Sharing and information from Apple

Furiko is a paid app. Purchases, refunds and Family Sharing are handled by Apple; we never receive your payment details or Apple Account information. Apple gives developers anonymous, aggregated statistics (such as download counts), and if you've turned on “Share with App Developers” on your device, Apple may also share crash logs that don't identify you. Apple handles this information under its own privacy policy.

Deleting your data

You can delete setlists, presets and practice entries one by one in the app, and turning off Log practice in Settings stops new entries. To delete everything, delete Furiko from your iPhone and make sure it is removed from your Apple Watch as well. Copies in your device backups are managed by Apple's backup features.

Children's privacy

We don't collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above. If a change affects how your data is handled, we'll also mention it in the app's release notes.
